   Industrial
Ceiling Fans
Looking for some good industrial ceiling
fans? If you’re looking for a fan that is going to be
able to cover a large and open area in a room that has high
ceilings, you’re basically looking for some industrial
ceiling fans. You want a fan that will stand up to the
rigors of a warehouse or industrial environment which means
stuff like dust and dirt, you also want fans that will
require very little maintenance to keep in good
condition.
If you get some good industrial ceiling
fans that meet these criteria though, they will help to
improve the comfort level of all who work within the
warehouse or large office space as they help to re-circulate
the warm air that rises and gets trapped up at the
ceiling. This is great for the winter as it keeps the
whole area warmer as a whole, in the summer, it works in the
reverse and helps to keep things cool.
Now if you’re wondering what some good
industrial ceiling fans are, here’s a quick look at some of
the better ones out there that you should be
considering:
Westinghouse #78127 56” Industrial
White Ceiling Fan
This is a great edition to any large open
space. Again, this is meant for industrial areas, so
if you’re trying to install it within the home, you may be
in for some bumps in the road. This comes with a
downrod which allows you to extend the fan down further from
the ceiling. The rod is only adjustable though if you
can extend the rod into the ceiling, if you can’t do this,
you’re going to have to take a saw to it.
Overall this is a quiet fan with a modern
design , and at only around $45, you can’t go wrong with
it.
Emerson Fans HF1160bK 60”
Industrial Heat Contemporary BBQ Black Ceiling
Fan
Here’s a pretty large fan that is all
black and very sleek and stylish. It’s tilted thin
blades connected to a round cylindrical base give it a nice
futuristic kind of look and feel as it is suspended by a
thin cable from the ceiling.
The downrod is 4” and it has 3
blades. This fan works well to cut down on your fuel
costs for heating since it helps re-circulate the trapped
air near the roof, it’s contoured blades allow for really
good airflow in comparison to the plain old paddle-like
blades.
This unit is a bit more expensive than the
previous one though coming in at around $175.
These are just 2 of the industrial ceiling
fans you have to choose from, both on the high and low end
of the spectrum. I would suggest you do a bit more
research of your own before you decide on a final
product.
